It's Memorial Day...Let the Summer Begin!

Macaroni Celebrates

It's finally here!  It's the beginning of the summer season even though summer doesn't begin for several weeks. It looks like the weather will cooperate too!  When I was growing up, I knew it was Memorial Day because my best friend Edyce's father, Mr. Barie would start the day very early, mind you, by blaring The Battle Hymn of the Republic, Taps, the Marine Hymn and once in a while the Ballad of the Green Berets!  This was our cue to get our bikes and decorate ...

Quick Easy Lunch (aka SnackLunch)

Macaroni Menu

For most kids on a traditional nine-month school calendar, it’s easy to get out ...

Tips for Choosing a Campground

Macaroni Fun

I love what a campground can offer a family. From activities, to nature, and plenty of pool time, I think it can’t be beat. I whole heartedly encourage you to consider putting camping on the top of your ‘to do’ list for this year’s summer fun!
